The school

A campus built around how young people actually think.

Branny High School was founded to prove that a Cambridge education could feel unmistakably Nigerian — rigorous by international standard, and rooted in the culture, ambition, and energy of Nigeria.

Our founding brief

A group of Nigerian educators set out to design a school that treated creativity as a discipline, not a distraction — pairing the structure of the Cambridge curriculum with studio time, debate, and design thinking in every year group.

"Every learner leaves able to think clearly, argue fairly, and make something of value."

03

Rooted in Nigeria

Community placements, local mentors, and a campus calendar built around the country we call home.

A word from the school

Welcome to
Branny High School!

Every school makes a promise to the families who choose it. Ours is simple: your child will be known here, and they will be stretched here — never one without the other.

When I walk our corridors between periods, I don't see a building full of students moving between subjects. I see young people who are becoming the adults they will spend the rest of their lives being. That is the responsibility we carry at Branny High School, and it is one every member of our staff — from our Cambridge-trained subject teachers to our tutors, coaches, and pastoral team — takes seriously every single day.

We chose the Cambridge Pathway because it gives our students a curriculum that is examined and respected anywhere in the world, and because it rewards the habits of mind we want to build in them: curiosity, precision, and the willingness to defend an idea with evidence. But a rigorous curriculum on its own does not make a complete education. That is why creativity is not an extra at Branny — it is timetabled, resourced, and taken as seriously as any examined subject.

None of this works without small classes and adults who genuinely notice. Our tutor groups are deliberately kept small so that no child moves through a term unseen. We see pastoral care not as a department, but as the foundation everything else at Branny is built on.

To the families joining us for the first time, and to those who have trusted us for years: thank you. I would be glad to welcome you to our campus and show you, in person, what the numbers on this page can only begin to describe.
